Special aspects

These forms were used by a passenger on a ship to record a message to be transmitted either to a passenger on another ship or to a shore address.

Three types of transmission form are recorded:

ordinary forms for general use;
letter telegram forms for transmission at reduced rates;
ornamental forms for use to send a message on a special occasion.
